I'm happy to announce the addition of another Marx text to the
Marx/Engels Online collection archived at csf.colordo.edu.

_Pre-Capitalist Economic Formations_ was never intended for
publication, certainly, at least, not as is.

Marx's collection of personal notebooks, of which this text was a
part, would finally be published for public perusal in Russian in
Moscow, 1939-41.  It was printed in German in 1953, and is today
known generally as the _Grundrisse_.

This section, _Pre-Capitalist Economic Formations_, of that vast work
the _Grundrisse_, was published separately in Berlin, 1952, as a
pamphlet called _Formen die der Kapitalistischen Produktion
vorhergehen_.

This monograph (indeed all _Grundrisse_ monographs) are instructive
in revealing the development of Marx's thought, as they were complied
for the _Critique of Political Economy_ and _Capital_.

It will be stored in the Marx/Engels Online Library, both in the main
menu as said independent pamphlet, and in the _Grundrisse_ directory,
as part of that large work.
