What to do with pen-l
When I first joined pen-l in the summer of 1992, I was happy to have lots
of activity but I will be honest, I have been happy with the amount of
activity in January this year - I signed off early for the holidays because
I had to go away prior to Christmas to a meeting and it was just so busy
that I did not sign back on until January after the ASSA Meetings. If the
list becomes as busy as it did in early December, I will sign off again
permanently.
Many people did not write about issues in economics at all and some included
personal messages in their postings. I read and very often do not
participate so I can learn something about the economic thinking and issues
of importance. I hope that is what this list is all about. If it goes
downhill as it did in December, it is not worth getting.
