I think that Human Development Index has became too a grate invention on the late 20th century. As important as GDP and of special interest for alternative trends in economics

I have been meaning to write an article on GDP, given that almost no economists in my experience understand what it means and does not mean. But maybe Michael has beaten me to it already.
