My point is that you have first to deconstruct the notion of the subject not take it as a Cartesian given. It is not a scientific concept.

Without conceiving of class as a subject one can not conceive of strategic behavior by classes or other groups. The 'notion' of a subject is not merely juridical -- it expresses the fact that there are *social agents*.
