The British Barclays bank made a 67 billion euro bid for the Dutch ABN-Amro bank. But what is more, according to the papers the two banks say they are going to scrap a total of 12,800 jobs and shift 10,800 jobs to low-wage countries. That's a hell of a lot of jobs!
