I don't follow the Wonkette blog much, but this one caught my eye:
badbrainbad says: Wolfowitz has no need for a girlfriend. He relieves his sexual tension by fucking the world. http://wonkette.com/politics/paul-wolfowitz/hey-ladies--hateful-warmonger-now-single-ready-to-doctor-your-intelligence-246242.php
The frightening thought is, that it could really be more true than you'd think. Just trace through if you will, the intertwining of the careers of Wolfie and Shaha, and how they got to their ideas about murdering Iraq into democracy.
Once you trace out the cliques, networks and coteries of the bloated US federal polity, you realise what an incestuous mafia family it really is - they all reward each other with jobs, positions, appointments, connections, lolly trips, opportunities, contracts plus of course rich helpings of tax money for their private accumulation. The bourgeois media will narrowly focus on two individuals, but it is only the tip of the iceberg.
Then, when they go on their imperialist mission to reshape the world after their own image of America, the same corrupt mafia is duplicated and reproduced all around the world.
If you're wondering why the Iraq polity is so corrupt, look at the imperialist polity that constructed it, after its own image. In the end, and especially in a war, they cannot help being themselves, i.e. corrupt and making up the rules as they go along, to suit themselves.
