Quoting Rakesh Bhandari <bhandari@xxxxxxxxxxxx>:

Hi,

I check the OPE-L mailing list occasionally and noticed your post on
Kuruma, and as the translator I just wanted to say hello.
I also wanted to point at that when Kuruma wrote that article he
hadn't yet read Marx's Grundrisse and he revised his view later. I'm
going to translate the introduction to his book Kyoko ron (THeory of
Crisis) where he discusses how his view changed.

By the way, an article by Kuruma on Smith and Ricardo I translated is
going to be published in the next issue of Research in Political
Economy, along with an article i wrote on Kuruma. I've translated two
other books by Kuruma and hope to have them published somehow.

Rakesh, thanks very much for forwarding this message. These articles sound very interesting. I wonder if Michael could send copies to you, which you could forward to the list.

You may also be aware of Kuruma's 15-vol. Marx-Lexikon which was published in German and Japanese and has passages from Marx on a number of topics that inclue Competition, Crisis, Money, Materialist Conception of History, and Method...

Comradely,
Michael Schauerte

I wonder if the topics include prices of production.
I imagine so.

Comradely,
Fred
