Let me share another piece of information connected with the theme evolution of political economy.
A.V. Anikin, a professor of Economics in the former Soviet Union wrote a book titled 'A Science in its youth'. I do not know the Russian title(which appeared in 1976). A Telugu translation of the book was brought out in 1983. It traces the evolution of political economy beginning from Aristotle and ends with Robert Owen. But at every point, the author takes Marx as reference point.
Nearly after twenty five years, Ranganayakamma is editing that Telugu version and planning to bring out it under the banner 'Pragathi Prachuranalu', meaning 'Progress Publications', with the monetary contributions of her reader-friends who are interested in disseminating Marxist literature amoung the Telugu reading public.
The Telugu title of the book is 'artha saastra kramaparinaamam', meaning ;'evolution of (political)economics'.
