The Urdu section of the Marxists Internet Archive has completed the first
ever
Urdu translation of Volume 1 of Capital. The translation was based on the
Progress Publishers English language edition of Samuel Moore and Edward
Aveling's translation of the Third German edition, edited by Engels. The
translation took over two years and was done by Imtiaz Hussain and Ibne
Hasan
for the MIA.
Unlike any previous translation of Marx in any language, this translation
will
be published for the first time free to the public domain in electronic form
on
the world wide web.
The format is InPage2000, a proprietary format readable for all Urdu
computer
users. See http://www.marxists.org/urdu/marx/1867-capital/index.htm - but
you
will need InPage2000 to see the Urdu script.
