[OPE-L] "Value, Price and Profit" [was "Intro to economics"]

"Value, Price and Profit" is published under my editorial abridgement.
The abridgement did two things to make the reading much more accessible.
First, most of Marx's dialogue with Weston is removed leaving the
theoretical core intact.  Second, the units of currency are decimalized to
the modern British system.  It is published in Vol. 18 of the RESEARCH,
pp. 3-39, but I also received special permission from the Elsevier to make
it available on-line at

For specialists you may want to know that I used the very first Edward
Aveling edition for preparation (e.g., "Wages, Price and Profit" was not
the title).
