Jerry,
Though I'd mention that Swedish scholar John Brolin, of Lund University, has a substantive draft manuscript online available now on "A History of Unequal Exchange Theories" at http://www.etn.lu.se/Etnologi/Forskarutbildning/AnslagstavlaFU/_www/index.html . I haven't had time to read it all yet, but no doubt some OPE-Lers would be interested in this research, so thought I would mention it anyway. John invites serious scholarly comment, and can be contacted at John.Brolin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx .
