Hi Jerry,
This list 'Economistas Rojos' (not Rojas) begun 9 months ago here in
Madrid. The number of participants has been growing up to the present 167
members, many of them coming from Latin America. The discussions are more
biaised to political issues even if theoretical aspects are not neglected.
Classical authors' position about socialism and the transition from
capitalism have been largely debated, but also more recent writers like
MichaelLebowitz or Paresh Chattopadhyay. Market socialism has deserved great
attention. I am joining below what appears at the end of every message. As you
can see one of the main aspects in the up to now only presential meeting of this
group was to aim to reinforce formation in Marxian economics; this is why some
books were proposed to help to this task::
up to now:
Best,
Diego
PS. Note that Gouverneur's book is in Spanish but
also in English and French.
