Before the Bottomore edition was published, there were seminars at the New School on Hilferding's *Finance Capital*
offered by Anwar Shaikh.
I think they used a different translation so it might be useful to get a
copy
and compare the (3?) different translations with the original German
edition.
Also, I think the Bottomore edition was used in some of Anwar's
classes
since so he might know about some translation problems.
