I have this article; it is in French and has not been translated into
English.  It is quite sympathetic to Sismondi.  I think Grossman had not
yet read Lenin on Sismondi.  By the 1930s Grossman must have read 1897
Lenin on Sismondi for now his interpretation of Sismondi shifts to Lenin's
dismissive interpretation.

Lenin was accused in 1905 by Plekhanov of being a supporter of Say, and
there is a certain truth in this characterization, even if it goes a bit
too far.
