I consider most unfortunate that Andrew Kliman --one of the most brilliant persons and Marxists I have ever met-- had unsuscribed to this list. It seems to me that the disgraceful circumstances surronding this should be matter of personal reflection for all us. To my mind the capitalistic corrupted way in which the academic work is actually done (specially in developed countries) is to be considered an important cause of this event.
