The political impact of scientology is to
make people give-up on social changes, because
they teach that only the individual can change,
bad society is just a reflection of bad people, so
don't talk about things like... policy, reform, etc.

Just drop out of politics? Who else wants people to
hate all govt so they can run it with opposition?

It has the same effect as teaching that the world is
doomed, but you can save yourself. Just shut up, go along
with the incredible, doubt you own eyes (be good) ... you
will be rewarded later.

Could you imagine a better tool to prevent action and unity.
