You can't compare what the Republicans did in 2000 or the Democrats did when
Kennedy got elected with what happened here. The scale of the rigging, the
use of force to crack down on newspapers and the use of censorship to hinter
communication, the early certification of elections. The closing of schools
and universities around the country to prevent protests. This wouldn't
happen in even a liberal "democracy" as flawed as the United States.
