Ah, But,  actually both have gotten the blessings of the Real Academia
Española.  Pinche is a strong curse word, but chinga is such a subtle
multi use word  that to define it as simply "gutter" is to miss the
cultural colors.  ;)

Yes.  My _Gran Diccionario Usual de la Lengua Espanol_ (Larousse) has  4 
definitions for "pinche," and 7 for "chingar."
