Re: [Marxism] statistics for students?

This man claims that the Hockey Stick Theory has been rejected by the IPCC.
Where does he get this from? It seems as if the IPCC has merely acknowledged
that bias exists in all constructions based on multi-proxy data, but that
they rejected the error margin of McKitrick & McIntyre.

Let's find a better source for prodding the statistics used by the media.
And hopefully one with a better interface.

PS to my original message.
Those particularlty interested in the evaluation of forcasting from
time-sequence data would be well advised ro read
http://www.numberwatch.co.uk/2009%20March.htm and follow his links.

Actually, this advice should be given to 95% of the current generation of
scientists-publicists, and, for members of this list, it is a crucial
warning that great scepticism needs to be taken of all the current doomsday
forecasts.
