You're receiving this reminder invitation because you attended a previous
event organized by Revolutionary Work In Our Times, an initiative of the Bay
Area Activist Study Circle, Freedom Road Socialist Organization/Organización
Socialista del Camino para la Libertad, League of Revolutionaries for a New
America, Left Turn, Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, New York Study Group, and
Solidarity.

This summer in Chicago, we'll continue the conversations begun at last
August's Summer School with a Strategic Dialogue.

The program committee is hard at work to finalize specific workshops, but
the four themes of the Strategic Dialogue will be:

   1. Economic Crisis and Left Alternatives- breakouts follow plenary (at
   least one on Obama' economic policies)
   2. State of Resistance- breakouts *precede* plenary
   3. Revolutionary Process in the Age of Obama- breakouts follow (one will
   include Obama effect; others may cover various proposals for left
   regroupment/ refoundation)
   4. What does it mean to be a revolutionary in the 21st century? breakouts
   follow plenary (perhaps examples from other countries, theory)

The Dialogue takes place at the University of Chicago International House,
with on-site, dorm style housing. For more information check out
