I don't have time or inclination to translate the article, but it struck
me as serious (the author says he started out with a favorable view of
the NPA). His critique cannot be reduced to such a simple conclusion.
More so, it is based on his perception that the NPA is "new" in name
only, and that its approach is one of a "megaphone," not responding to
the needs of the masses of disaffected and exploited, but, in his view,
reflects a continuation of the "chapel" politics of the French far left.
How accurate his take is I cannot say, though friends whom I respect
and who live in France find his critique accurate.
