I don't have a beef with either MSWindows or Mac. I really don't care
for the pissing match that goes on between users.
But...not to get on your bad side:

My Dell has a pad with a section that allows you to do the same thing.
As far open source OS, you can always use Ubuntu on Windows either by
partitioning your hard drive OR using Wubi.
"The Macbook also has an illuminated keyboard"
So does Dell.
