"The Peace and Freedom Party of California wants to build a nationwide
electoral party dedicated to socialism, feminism, democracy,
environmentalism, and racial equality. We are holding a National Organizing
Conference to advance this effort, set to take place in San Francisco on
August 1, 2009, and hope to be able to place candidates on the ballots of a
number of states in the 2010 election cycle. "
