Re: [Marxism] Fascism, the so-called 'far right' and the political middle

Thanks, but allow me to clean up some theory concepts about the meaning of
the so-called "far right." and with your help present an edited version
perhaps tonight. What the hell is the "far right" in the first place? The far
right surfaces as a concept of/in electoral politics, while the communist
concept of the political middle is a class presentation of political
America, which includes how the voting section of the working class behave.

This piece is really muddled but the real purpose was to repeat a hundred
times "political middle." It touched on proportional representation without
saying what this actually meant. Each state gets two Senators.
California, New York, Ohio, and Michigan have roughly 77.3 million people
totally 8
Senators. Georgia, North C., Alabama, South C., Louisiana, Mississippi,
Arkansas, Utah, Nebraska, South D., North D., Florida and Texas have a
combined
population of 81.9 million and get 26 Senators. Within these states are
the Senators representing the "far right" or opposition tot he Obama
administration.

Voting for Democrats by 77.3 million people cannot change one iota the
political relations the exists on the basis of the lack of proportional
representation. A certain group that feels it is appropriate to attack the far
right should locate their forces in the areas of "the far right" and stop
playing."

As practical politics isolating the far right means communist should write
literature and agitate against the "far right Senator" and in support of
the Obama administration rather than fighting our way through the political
middle educating the workers to the cause of their plight and why we need
our own independent economic and political demands.

Further the lesser of two evil theories as reasoning for uniting with
Democrats rather than fighting for a party of labor demands, under conditions
of
the collapse of the political middle, does not take into account that the
basis of the old Roosevelt Coalition has been destroyed by the progression
of history.

Where is the middle class of America? Last time I checked it was rapidly
sinking into the lower section of the proletariat.

Then I did not clarify what it is that Obama is called to do. Telling me
Obama is called to save the system means one does not have a clue about class
relations in America. "It's a class question."

Brother, "Its a class question" means one understands nothing about classes
in America.

Allow me to clarify some of this.

Peace.

Melvin, this is very interesting and challenging. I was going to send
you this set of slight textual alterations/edits and bracketed
annotations/queries off-list, but I have decided to put it out on-list
and go ahead and expose my limited understanding of some aspects of this
essay to the criticism of a few often overly-exacting list members.
Others may have the same questions that occur to me, and this discussion
is too important not to be shared. There's insufficient response here to
what you're offering. Some of my questions early in the piece is
answered later, and some are there because to some extent I do not share
in understandings which may have been commonplace in past sectarian
organizational discussions. So please tolerate my emendations. I am
interested only in clarity.
