Bad analogy. It's one thing to commit crimes against Japan, whose military
is defensive in nature and has only a limited ability to react militarily.
It's a completely different thing to commit a crime against the world's
strongest imperial nation who would see the crime as a valid reason to invade
you and which has a military which specializes in offensive operations.

No doubt. I hardly think Marx, Lenin or Trotsky (etc.) had North Korea in
mind when theorizing how the science of communism would evolve.

The question I would have is similar to that of the USSR. Are the
country's "deformities" (for lack of a better word) a result of Marxist
theories, or is it a result of various pressures of being isolated and under
siege -- in many, many ways -- by larger, stronger, and more developed
capitalist powers? My thought is that it is the latter, combined with the
respective country's own history and cultural quirks and tendencies.

Fascism is: "A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the
extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business
leadership, together with belligerent nationalism." -- The 1983 American
