Sam, the problem with your analogy below is that Obama is a capitalist 
politician who has become the leading defender of the capitalist status quo.  
 
The other is a political movement of the oppressed that is in direct opposition 
to one major area of the capitalist status quo: marriage and family law and 
customs.  
 
It is similar to the antiwar movment. By uniting all that can be united against 
the imperialist wars of the mideast we will be working with antiwar Democratic 
and Republican party members.  If they can be organized into action against the 
war plans of Bush, now Obama, that is a political victory of the Left. It 
forces Democrat and Republican antiwar individuals to view their leaders 
differently.  They may not have confidence in our socialist ideas, but we have 
a hearing where none existed before.
