I don't see the Prop 8 cases going to SCOTUS.  The main tactics presented in 
the gay media here are to pursue a pro-same sex marriage state initiative 
either in 2010 or 2012. The California Supreme Court will not have the final 
word on this issue.


   Over the years I've been impressed with the organization and sometimes 
militancy of gay rights groups. I'm surprised they haven't taken this issue 
to court. I can only guess they fear being too far out ahead and the SCOTUS 
creating a custom exception for them that would set the movement back years.
