Re: [Marxism] Greenwald Salon: Does Obama seek USSup.Ct. for peventive detention? (Don't claim to know.)
War was always going to be the destination of the Obama regime. Name me a
Democratic president who has not gone there. However the mistake the Great
Barack is making is to start off with a war. He needed to sidle up to it;
sort of do it when no one was looking; not jump in feet first. Disaster
awaits him in the hills and mountains of Afghanistan. But that's not the
only problem. Iraq is once more looking too shaky to pull off even the
kind of troop withdrawal you have when you are not having a troop
withdrawal. He is going to have to surge again.
Even worse will eventuate should the crazies talk him into attacking Iran.
Meantime the foreclosures mount up and up and the CEOs continue to pig out
on the bonuses. It is all looking more and more like the last days of the
Ancien regime.
comradely
Gary
