Pugs actually sounds as much neocon as left wing.  Mostly rants about
how everyone on the Left are mindless automatons spouting a line, etc.
except for whoever he agrees with.  And he never quite states a
position on his own, so that's hard to tell.  My impression was that
he was hostile to the Trotskyists as closet Stalinists and had some
sympathies for the Socialist Party.  Just an impression, of course.
