Perhaps she used "totally obliterate" in a different context, but
Hillary spoke on this several times...and my recollection (flawed
though it often is) is that she did say something to the effect that:
if Iran attacked Israel, the US would "obliterate" the country.

I do think that this was a classic bit of politician's pandering to a
very select audience....   I remember thinking at the time that she
had all the sincerity of the fox guarding the hen house....or maybe a
weasel.

Certainly, she used this posturing to batter Obama into the last
position he's taken on the subject.
