After reading a few lines, one realizes that this is not the real Ban Ki-Moon
who speaks. I am astonished that someone who is following the
Israel-Problem and the role of the UN in the "quartet" and generally, can take
this wishful thinking for real.

This may have been published somewhere under the heading "This is the
speech which Ban Ki-Moon should give to the UN assembly".

It reminds the reader of a number of facts which often go under in the
media chatter.

E.g. the argument that the partition resolution of the General Assembly is
not binding, as all resolutions of the GA (e.g. the yearly resolutions
condemning of the US blockade of Cuba), and that this colonialist resolution
was not adopted by the Security Council, which then would be binding.
