Have a look at the cut-back and wage-lowering policies of the Berlin (Land
and city) government coalition of SPD and PDL (Partei Die Linke).

Try to find PDL organising demonstrations against the Israeli massaker in
and against Gaza -- nope, on the contrary, the chairperson of the Berlin PDL
spoke at a pro-war demonstration.

And Oskar Lafontaine is the one who as minister in the SPD-Green
government coalition of 1998 became the focal point of hopes that he would
lead the fight for workers interests against the neo-liberal policies of
Chancellor Schröder, and backed down, giving up all posts in government and
party, and so removing any hope that those pro-capitalist policies could be
fought against from within.
