Appropriately enough Star Trek: First Contact was one of these exceptions.

OK, he's a colossal pompous ass, but, but it doesn't sound like capitalism.
Mind you, I'm not sure how you would go about explaining such things in that
kind of context. There would be a pretty huge cultural difference there.
