Dear David,

I was the person who posted that query, and thanks for posting this -- gave
me a few good leads.

Recently I very much enjoyed David Marusek's _Counting Heads_, about a
future world nearing the singularity and governed by a cabal of big
capitalists who keep the proles in line by pitting humans against cloned
labor. Class politics is only one of many themes in a very richly imagined
book, but it was of course entirely missed by the mainstream reviewers.
