It was just a heuristic exercise to place the issue of guns in an interesting 
context, chegitz. 

Obviously there are plenty of MDs out there, surgeons included, who do 
important healing work. 

BUT, if universal health care were truly an option in this country, some sort 
of regulatory and independent testing body should be empowered to assess the 
viability of new drugs.

This sham pseudoscience by the pharmaceuticals should not be allowed to 
continue under an administration which takes public health seriously. 

Speaking of public health, issues related to sanitation, clean water, 
nutritious food, and public recreational venues are all more important in 
establishing a healthy society than any number of magic pills.
