Re: [Marxism] Abolish the Fucking Hospitals: The leading cause ofdeath and injury in the United States

Wait, wait, wait... doctors [and hospitals] kill a lot of people by
accident? Accidents never happen. Negligence, carelessness, unsanitary
practices, introduction of sepsis through intrusive procedures do happen.

Doctors associated with Johns Hopkins have been in the forefront of making
hospitals and medical center utilize checklist procedures to guard against
sepsis, improper medication, improper dosage of the proper medication, etc.

Now those procedures are truly scientific, based on analysis of masses of
data about infection, and reinfection rates in hospitals, and the associated
mortality rates associated with the infection and reinfection rates..

As for the 90%-10% vs the 100%-- that's baloney. The reality is that 100%
those dying in hospitals, and medical centers, from unsanitary procedures
would recover. No doctor with a shred of dignity, commitment, pride, would
practice medicine killing 10% of his/her patients unless the patients were
lab rats.

Tell me what procedures, medicines the FDA has approved for general use,
even under Bush/Cheney that involve 10% mortality rates to patients?
