[Marxism] The Part Played by Cooking in the Transition from Ape to Man
The article below in today's Science Times seems like a useful
supplement to Engels' essay (the title of which is paraphrased in my
subject line).
I would just add that it doesn't mention (although perhaps the book
does) the specific role of women in this process.
PS: On reskimming Engels' essay just now I was reminded that near the
end are the paragraphs which John Bellamy Foster has drawn our
attention to about the need to end what Foster calls the "metabolic
rift" from nature.
