[Marxism] Howard Zinn's MARX IN SOHO

Hello,
I have long been trying to keep up with the marx mail list, and a wealth 
of information that lands in my inbox.  It seems that there are not 
nearly enough hours in the day for me to keep up on this reading, but I 
do enjoy trying.

I saw an e-mail come through where someone was looking for some guidance 
on Barcelona travel which got me thinking about  a project I'm involved 
with that I could use some help with. I'm not sure if this is 
appropriate for this list but I thought I would give it a try.  I do 
hope it does not offend anyone.

For sometime I've been involved in a small theater/activist project 
touring Howard Zinn's MARX IN SOHO.  I'm sure many of you are familiar 
with the play but if not, you can check this out www.levyarts.com or 
send me an e-mail.  While we're small we have taken this play throughout 
the United States, Canada and Europe, performing it in theaters schools, 
social centers and community spaces, cafés  and other venues.  I am 
always looking for help/guidance finding places to take the play.  I 
would greatly appreciate any guidance people from this list could 
provide. Maybe you know of a theater or school or other venue that you 
think we should check out or perhaps a conference you think would be 
appropriate. We are  touring in Europe this summer and we have some 
holes in our schedule where would be great to add another performance.  
This fall we are looking for for performances runs in the USA and Canada.

I should mention that we also love using the play to help organizations 
stimulate community interest in their work while also raising money. 
Among other things, the play encourages people to get involved making it 
perfect for a benefit. So if you know of an organization who might be 
interested in using the play as a benefit, please let me know.

The play provides a good introduction to Marx and his ideas and for 
those who know more, it provides a great exploration of the man behind 
the theories. It is entertaining and educational making it a perfect fit 
for many settings.
