[Marxism] Justice and sustainability are at odds?

Pro:
If savings (surplus income) of wealthy were redistributed to needy,
instant consumption & resultant resource depletion and waste
generation/pollution would ensue. Justice and sustainability are at odds
once overshoot is reached.

Con:
But, with unearned income the need to go to work and produce more stuff
to be wasted would end. That kind of justice could put justice and
sustainability on the same team.

Or:
Justice for the future requires a redistribution over distant
generations, rather than distribution over classes. That means an end to
all non-renewable consumption.
