More power to the New School students!  Right now, there is also a big 
struggle going on against cutbacks and the policies of the (very 
highly-paid) president (who is not offering to cut back on  his salary 
or those of some 30 plus vice-presidents -- yes we've got them coming 
out of our ears --  making more than 150 grand per year) involving the 
students, faculty, and staff at the University of Vermont in 
Burlington.  Protests having been happening for some time. Thursday 
there was walkout of 1000 students.  See this coverage:
