Re: [Marxism] YADL (Yet another disillusioned liberal)/all

In the case of Douglas A. Fraser, he did more than just canalize-- while his
official biography refers to him as the leader of a 9 day strike against
Chryler in 1973 that won significant control of overtime, production rates,
etc., his real step-up involved personally leading official, and armed,
strike-breakers against wildcat sit-down strikers at Chrysler plants in the
Detroit area.

After that, the two concessionary contracts he negotiated with Chrysler
while head of the UAW, and the 'consolidation' of the neo-liberal model were
foregone conclusions.
