Re: [Marxism] British Government Refuses To Discuss Sovereignty of Malvinas

Oh... right. So, on a soi-disant Marxist list, the claims
over a tiny piece of land fought over by three separate
imperialist powers, France, Spain and Great Britain (long
before there was such a thing as Argentina) have been
decided on behalf of an ex-colony, ex-colonial power and
subsequent military dictatorship, have they?

I can feel some relative morality coming on: "Now that
sides have been decided upon, the party of the first part
(Great Britain) having been allocated the role of
imperialist oppressor and the party of the second part
(Argentina) having been allocated the role of plucky
freedom fighter against imperialist oppression, the party
of the third part (the Falkland Islanders) are hereby
declared to be running-dog lackeys of the imperialist
oppressors and therefore fair game. As a direct
consequence, any acts of murder/atrocity/rape etc.
committed by aggrieved members of parties of the second
part upon the afore-mentioned imperialist running dogs
(parties of the third part) is hereby declared to be
wholly and totally the fault of the party of the first
part."

There's something deliciously Monty Pythonesque about your
analysis of the class struggle in this particular
instance, my dear.

Or perhaps, in the style of Artesian, you're just a
wanker?
