[Marxism] How To Keep Important News From Page 1!

Listening to Al Jazeera this afternoon I heard a 
report about an
air strike in January in Sudan of a supposed 
convoy carrying
arms to Gaza. Al Jazeera reports that its sources 
say that 800
people were killed (suggesting in the report that 
the convoy
included Africans migrating to Egypt in order to 
find their way to
Europe.) Sources suggested that either the 
Americans or the Israelis
were involved but the US denies involvement.

Anyway... the point is that I had not heard 
anything about this and
checked the NY Times web site. I found a report 
(of sorts) IN A
NY TIMES BLOG! I don't know about you but I pay 
absolutely
no attention to the blogs sponsored by the 
"official" papers - but how
effing convenient for "covering" and "burying" at 
the same time! Got
something too hot for page 1? PUT IT IN THE BLOG!
