Even though the NPA is still consolidating itself, and as Le Figaro puts it
"its forces were just a drop of water in the ocean that was on the streets of
France March 19," Le Figaro (3-16-2009) points out that the polling organization
BVA claims that as many people in France support Bescancenot's views as
support Sarkozy's.
Now Sarkozy is the president and Bescancenot is a postal worker who is the
spokesperson
for a party the French call "Ultra Left," which means it isn't in the PCF
milieu.
