[Marxism] Inquiry regarding Easter Rebellion

My son has to do a presentation for school on the Irish freedom struggle
and, specifically, the Easter Rebellion. He has to address the question of
whether it was a success or a failure. Would anyone have any fairly brief
articles they could recommend on this? Or would some of those involved in
that struggle care to comment?
