Okay, enough of this twitter meme. It is like, so January, 2009. Old. Tired.
Totally.

Even Rick Sanchez, who CNN is offering to its mid-day housewife audience as
a Latino Ken doll hunk, has built his 3PM EDT show around twitter. Part of
"our national conversation," sez Mr. Rick. 

Frankly, it's what talk radio would have been like if the telephone had
never been invented and instead everyone had telegraph terminals in their
homes. But if even the Time Warner robot suits in the CNN executive suites
think Twitter is "kewl," that means the Smithsonian has ALREADY placed its
exhibit on the museum floor -- in this case right next to a button that says
"You've got mail" every time you push it.

Blogs, newsfeeds, twitter ... just the old  Morse code automated on nice
displays.

Then again, email lists ...

Well, somehow, I doubt the XXI Century is going to be a rehash of the XIX:
Rick Sanchez and the CNN suits may have dyslexia and get XIX and XXI mixed
up, but nevertheless, history does move on. So should Verso.
