>From the capitalists there is a down side to raising the living standards of
the working class -They tend to get very cheeky as in the 60s. Somewhere
Schumpeter said that capitalism was in danger when it was most failing and
when it was most successful. The last 30 years have been wonderful for
capital and some of them are very reluctant to let go. But let go they will
have to or go under.
