   Well, that may have been because Rojas had been released half a year 
before.  

   Clara Rojas was released between January 10 and 13, 2008, while Ingrid 
Betancourt was released about six months later, on July 2, 2008. 

  No wonder that Clara Rojas was hardly mentioned in the press reporting 
about Betancourt's release.

   She was six months less held as a hostage, and her son was put in an 
orphanage in the government controlled area.
