Re: [Marxism] A thaw with Cuba?



I am in Florida. Was in the Post Office this past Wednesday and in polite
conversation with one of the postal clerks Cuba came up and a change in postal
policy was mentioned. GREATER RESTRICTIONS are being implemented against
civilian shipments of packages to Cuba. Things like aspirins are being banned.
Not sure what this means as policy. It seems the fact of policy stability is
running counter to the propaganda signaling shift and loosening of
restrictions. Perhaps, the Post Office policy shift is part of a larger
struggle of
political factions within the bureaucracy.
