But you just did that.
In any case, Zizek is *not* "popular" in the capitalist press. The New
Republic did a hatchet job on him only a few months ago, accusing him
of being totalitarian and anti-semitic, among other things. The
capitalist press loves to showcase him as a freak. That he calls
himself a Marxist and a Leninist is part of why he is portrayed as a
freak.
Much of the criticism of Zizek in this newsgroup is just anti-intellectualism.
